EVESHAM – Cherokee High School’s Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA) chapter members excelled in the State Leadership Conference in Atlantic City.

Ten members placed in the Top 10 and eight of those qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga. in June.

“I am so proud of my students. They prepared for the challenge, and it showed,” said Cherokee FBLA advisor and business teacher Shellie Hughes.

FBLA is a national association of more than 250,000 students interested in becoming more successful in the business world. FBLA provides competitive events at the regional, state, and national level. FBLA’s National Leadership Conference gives students the opportunity to compete against the best in the country.

Cherokee students advancing to nationals with their qualifying events: Ricky Bernstein and Tyler Jiang (4th in Marketing), Caden Crosson and Steven Killian  (4th in International Business), Emily Butler and Sydney Morrison  (3rd in International Business) and Luke Gaymon and Cameron Radimer (2nd in Sports and Entertainment Management).

Cherokee students recognized as finishing in Top 10: Danny Lin (competing in Introduction to Business Concept) and Karli Eldabh (competing in Agribusiness).
