A man was shot in Thornton and later died at a hospital Tuesday night. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
The shooting happened in the 9200 block of Gale Boulevard, the Thornton Police Department said in a 10:14 p.m. tweet Tuesday.
Officers were called to the area on a report of the shooting, just after 9 p.m., police said.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said on Wednesday.
